Blink and you're dead!

A past commission I did back a few months ago for Joel on kickstarter. He is a huge doctor who fan that wanted something relating to the doctor's villains or monsters.

So I chose the weeping angels as they were the first monsters that got me sucked into the whole who world. Not to mention I believe they are the scariest enemies to fight against. Why are stones statues scary you ask?

Let me explain, weeping angels have this automatic defense system where you look at them they can't move and appear to be in stone. But when you don't look at them they can move faster than you! So you might say okay I'm just going to stare at them, which would work but if you blink then they get you. Another scenario, let's say you are staring one down to prevent it from moving and you're not blinking but then there might be another one lurking about you wouldn't be able to keep your eyes on both of them and then, BOOM they got you!

How does stone kill? They have this ability to send you into the past, like 40 years before you're even born. And the energy you would have had in the present, they feast on it. So yeah I would never want to come across these statues…EVER!
